As the founder and owner of Empire State Barbershop, Ryan has poured over a decade of passion and expertise into building a shop that Claremont is proud to call its own.
A Perth local through and through, Ryan has mastered every cut and beard style you can think of, earning his reputation as one of the most skilled and well rounded barbers in the game.
His experience speaks for itself, but it is his dedication to making every client feel at home that truly sets the tone for everything Empire State stands for.
Outside of the shop, Ryan is a proud family man who loves nothing more than spending quality time with his wife and kids, and that same warmth and care he brings to his family is felt by every person who walks through the door.
Justin
barber
A true local through and through, Justin has been based in the 6062 postcode his whole life and brings six years of hands on experience to Empire State Barbershop.
Specialising in tapers and scissor cuts, Justin approaches every client with a genuine belief in freedom of expression, because your hair should reflect who you are and he is here to make that happen.
His technical range and eye for detail make him one of the most versatile barbers in the shop.
When Justin is not perfecting cuts, he is out on the volleyball court or simply touching grass and recharging for the week ahead.
Madé

Born in Bali and in Perth since the age of 13, Madé has developed a genuine passion for barbering that comes through in every single cut.
With 1.5 years of experience behind the chair, he has made the taper his signature, delivering clean and precise results that keep clients coming back.
Madé thrives on meeting new people and building real connections, treating every appointment as an opportunity to create something his clients will love.
Away from the barbershop, you will find him hitting the gym, catching waves, or working hard on his university studies.
Taha
barber
Taha has been refining his craft for three years and has built a reputation as the go to barber for a flawless skin fade.
Taha understands that stepping into the barbershop is about more than just a haircut, as it is an experience whether you are getting fresh for a wedding, a big occasion, or simply treating yourself.
His approach is attentive and personal, making every client feel looked after from the moment they sit down.
Outside of the shop, Taha keeps himself grounded through the gym, his studies, and quality time with his family, which he holds close to his heart.

Originally from San Francisco, California, Hugo has called Perth home since he was eight years old, bringing a laid-back West Coast energy to everything he does.
With 1.5 years of experience behind the chair, Hugo has developed a keen eye for the middle part and flow styles that turn heads.
What sets Hugo apart is his natural ability to connect with clients, as he believes a great haircut starts with a great conversation, and his creativity shines through in every cut.
When he is not in the shop, you will find Hugo strumming his guitar, shooting hoops, or soaking up the sun at the beach.
